Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients under the supervision of a licensed PT in inpatient rehabilitation.

You will help patients reach maximum function, maintain documentation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. The role requires an Oklahoma PTA license or eligibility, BLS certification, and prior inpatient rehab or acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level PTA training completed or eligible for licensure in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification required; First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience in inpatient rehab or acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements physical therapy services under supervision to restore function.
• Assists with patient training and documentation.
• Contributes to interdisciplinary plan of care and team activities.
• Maintains patient progress and documentation in medical records.
• Demonstrates knowledge of CMS-related tools and care processes where applicable.
