Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. You will work under a physical therapist to help patients develop and recover daily living and functional skills per an established plan, in an acute inpatient setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, AR PTA license in good standing, 12–18 months experience, CPR certification, and strong reading/writing and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PTA program accredited by CAPTE.
• 12–18 months related experience required.
• Arkansas PTA license in good standing required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong reading/writing and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to develop, recover and improve daily living/work skills per care plan.
• Collaborate with the physical therapist to implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain medical records.
