Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR, is hiring an Allied Health Physical Therapist for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. The role focuses on evaluating referred patients and creating a PT care plan to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.

The ideal candidate has a CAPTE-accredited PT degree, AR license, CPR certification, and 12–18 months of related experience. A preferred Masters or DPT is noted, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a full-time schedule.

SUMMARY: Responsible and accountable for completing a physical therapy evaluation for each referred patient and for creating and implementing a physical therapy care plan based on the completed evaluation to restore a patient’s function, alleviate pain and prevent disability.

BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager.

Required to work with the Director of Acute Rehabilitation, regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduate of and degree holder from a Physical Therapy Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education

Experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree

Licensure: Current Arkansas PT license in good standing

Certification: Current CPR certification

Preferred Education: Masters or DPT Degree

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Flexible work schedule, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts.
