Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will work closely with Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary team to help patients regain independence and function during inpatient care.

New graduates are welcome. A Mississippi PTA license or eligibility, and a current BLS certification are required. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered to full-time staff.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Mississippi PTA license or eligibility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Clinical experience in acute care or inpatient rehab is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Physical Therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients under supervision.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans to promote optimal outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient goals and abilities.
• Communicate patient progress and discharge needs with the care team.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
