Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of Medical City Healthcare, seeks a Physical Therapist for its inpatient rehab unit on a PRN basis. You will assess patients, create personalized therapy plans, and work closely with physicians and the care team to drive meaningful recovery and mobility goals.

You will deliver evidence-based treatments, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and mentor staff while upholding the organization’s values and standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) with current credentials.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification within 30 days of start.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or applicable program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized inpatient rehab treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and function.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes timely.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safe activity.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team for coordinated care.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students and uphold clinical values.
