Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in a PRN capacity. You will evaluate patients, create personalized plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain, while collaborating with physicians and the care team in a high-quality, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with geriatric and adult patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and experience in post-acute and acute care services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive care.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students and uphold HCA values.
