Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• 2 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation experience (preferred).
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the practicing state.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Proficient in documentation and medical record keeping.
• Understanding of current rehab medicine trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations including ROM, gait, strength, balance.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modalities.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, assistive devices, and home management.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain patient records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate with staff.
• Maintain a positive, professional environment to support patient progress.
