Exalt Health Rehabilitation Hospital WP in Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, and provide skilled therapy to help patients regain function.

You will educate families, monitor progress, document sessions, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to maximize outcomes in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree required.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Proficient in documentation and medical record keeping.
• Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in rehabilitation medicine.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical examinations, ROM testing, gait analysis, and balance assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modalities to address patient needs.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, assistive devices, and safe home management.
• Monitor progress, measure outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain detailed patient records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other staff.
• Maintain a positive, professional environment for patients.
