Job summary

EXALT HEALTH REHABILITATION HOSPITAL CONROE LLC in Conroe, TX seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support OT in providing comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services, helping patients regain independence in ADLs and return to prior function.

Under direct supervision, you will assess and treat, educate patients and families, document progress in EMR, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver three hours of intensive therapy daily.

Qualifications

• Current certification to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where currently practicing.
• Current BLS certification required via AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment to improve self-care and ADL independence.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment and strategies.
• Accurately document patient progress and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with OTs, nurses, physicians and other team members.
