Job summary

Select Medical is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Avon, Ohio. This full-time role involves evaluating patients, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and ensuring functional progress toward community reintegration under physician direction.

The position requires current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification or completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans.
• Delegates and directs therapy services for assigned patients and designs functional programs for community reintegration.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and therapy program delivery.
