Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in Colorado is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehab on a PRN basis. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized therapy plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, thorough documentation, and education for patients and families. A strong clinical foundation and Colorado licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited school with bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains active Occupational Therapy Certification in the State of Colorado.
• Maintains current certification in BLS for HealthCare Providers (in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines).
• OTR/OT licensure and degree requirements as stated.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and developing individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and care team.
• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitoring progress, adjusting plans, and documenting outcomes.
• Educating patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe transitions of care.
