Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab setting. The PRN position involves evaluating patients, creating personalized plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with physicians and care teams to improve mobility and independence.

You will mentor assistants or students while upholding values of excellence, compassion, and integrity as part of a national clinical network. A Colorado PT license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited PT program with BS/MS/DPT.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license.
• BLS for HealthCare Providers certification.
• Clinical rotation/experience in acute care, LTAC, SNF, or acute rehab.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT).
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and ensure accurate documentation of outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth recovery transitions.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values.

Education

BS/MS/Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Active Colorado PT license

BLS for HealthCare Providers

Clinical rotation/experience in acute care, LTAC, skilled nursing, or acute rehab

Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start

Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT)

Bachelor’s Degree
