Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Effective communication, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
• Develop and revise treatment plans with patient and family input, providing education, discharge instructions, and referrals as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information following departmental protocols.
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication with team members.
• Participate in staff meetings, ongoing education, and professional development activities.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective use of materials and equipment, adhering to infection control policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service, fostering teamwork and positive patient experiences using AIDET principles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, complying with organizational policies and standards.
