SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead nursing staff, oversee patient care plans, and collaborate with leadership to maintain care standards in a high acuity inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role emphasizes staff development, crisis leadership, and ensuring quality patient outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include an RN license, BSN or active BSN enrollment, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• Three to five years experience including supervisory experience required.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program required.
• Certified BLS before hire date required.
• Certified ACLS or completion in first 6 months of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel and act as a resource for care planning.
• Provide and oversee patient care and implement hospital philosophy.
• Lead during crises to ensure continuity of care and a productive work environment.
• Maintain standards of patient care and coordinate with the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Promote staff development and maximize patient outcomes through competency.
• Evaluate staff performance and participate in interviewing.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care, patient education, and discharge planning.
• Provide unit leadership and coordinate with other departments and families as needed.
