Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Rehab LPN/LVN to help patients regain strength and independence after illness or injury. You will be part of a collaborative rehab team and contribute to patient progress during 2–3 week stays.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring responses, assisting with mobility and ADLs, documenting progress, and educating patients and families about recovery milestones. Acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• LPN/LVN license or equivalent.
• Associate degree, certificate, or vocational training.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence
• Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly
• Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
• Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques
• Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care
