Qualifications

• RN license issued by the state where services are provided or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation and handoff tools.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, interventions, evaluation.
• Provides patient education tailored to learning needs.
• Assesses patient data to identify age-specific needs and deliver appropriate care.
• Performs adequate patient assessments and documentation.
• Uses teach-back to verify understanding of education.
• Applies Evidence-Based Practice in nursing care.
• Participates in patient-centered care model and unit-level governance.
• Documents problems in the plan of care and supports care of more complex patients with supervision.
