Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center in West Virginia seeks an Registered Nurse (Level I) responsible for delivering nursing care using the nursing process in an inpatient setting. The role requires accurate data interpretation, independent clinical judgment, and collaboration with the care team to achieve quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of RN experience, holds an active RN license (eNLC eligible) and is BLS certified within 30 days of hire; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice or multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year registered nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify patient care plan based on data and patient needs.
• Provide patient care using Evidence-Based Practice (EBP).
• Delegate according to scope of practice.
• Verify plans with interprofessional team, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Educate patients and families based on learning needs.
• Promote effective communication among team members and patients.
