Job summary

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, in inpatient at Union Hospital Therapy, LLC in Terre Haute, IN, is a full-time role. You will provide therapeutic and holistic care to inpatients on weekdays with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is required.
• State licensure/certification in good standing or ability to obtain PTA licensure.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification required or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for the shift.
• High level of professionalism in written and verbal communication.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Achieve patient care time targets and productivity standards.
• Provide medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for inpatients in the acute setting.
• Collaborate with other therapists and physicians within care pathways.
• Restore patient function and reduce pain to improve independence.
• Integrate Rehab Techs to support the patient’s plan of care.
• Complete documentation per company policies and state/federal regulations.
