Job summary

ProgressiveHealth is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our Union Hospital Therapy, LLC team in Terre Haute, IN. Inpatient setting, Monday–Friday day shift with weekend rotation. We welcome experienced PTAs and new graduates to apply.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree as a PTA, relevant state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and strong computer skills. Join a growing, supportive team focused on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• State licensure, certification, and registration in good standing or ability to obtain licensure.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain it prior to start.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication and professionalism.
• Proficient Microsoft Office apps (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
• Ability to work independently and in a team; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Meet patient care time targets and productivity standards.
• Provide medically prescribed physical therapy in an inpatient setting.
• Coordinate with other therapists and physicians within care pathways.
• Restore patient function and reduce pain to prevent disability.
• Integrate Rehab Techs to support the plan of care.
• Complete documentation per policies and federal/state regulations.
