UM Health Sparrow in Carson City, MI is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, plan and implement therapy programs, and supervise PTAs and students. The role includes inpatient care at Sparrow Carson Hospital and collaboration with care teams.

Requirements include Michigan PT licensure and a PT degree from an accredited program; strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available along with education resources and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current/non-restricted State of Michigan Physical Therapist License.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Manual therapy skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients, plan treatment programs and provide physical therapy interventions.
• Delegate to PTAs, ATCs, Rehab Aides and students; supervise their activities.
• Communicate the treatment plan, goals and progress to patients and caregivers.
• Document medical records according to established criteria.
• Re-evaluate patients and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Cooperate with support staff and other departments to optimize non-clinical services (registration, scheduling, billing).
• Provide inpatient care at Sparrow Carson Hospital per referral.
