University of Michigan seeks a Physical Therapist I for the Inpatient Acute Care team on a contingent/PRN basis. This temporary role is anticipated through September 3, 2027, with the schedule set as needed. Hybrid or mobile/remote work is possible at the department's discretion.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients using modalities and exercises, interpreting prescriptions, and developing treatment plans. A Michigan PT license and clinical internship are required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and completion of a clinical internship are necessary.
• A current Michigan Physical Therapy license is necessary.
• This Classification requires registration, certification, or licensure with the appropriate agency as identified on the Primary Source Verification Matrix.
• Master's or DPT degree in physical therapy is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders, and disabilities using physical modalities and exercises.
• Interpret prescriptions and develop treatment plans.
• Instruct patients in home exercise programs.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Clinical internship completed

Master's or DPT degree (desirable)
