Job summary

Education: PTA or therapy assistant program; Licensure: PTA or COTA license; Experience: 2+ years in an acute hospital therapy setting; Certification: Healthcare Provider card required or obtained during probation.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited PTA or therapy assistant program.
• Current state license to practice PTA or COTA.
• At least 2 years' experience in a hospital acute care therapy setting.
• Healthcare Provider card (current or obtained during probation).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to ensure high quality and safe inpatient care.
• Collaborate with leadership, schools, and educators to provide/advance training opportunities.
• Design orientation programs and support preceptor development; uphold patient care standards.
• Foster mentorship, regulatory compliance, and resource management to promote safety.
