Job summary

Enloe Health in California seeks an Inpatient Psychiatry Service Provider to deliver comprehensive psychiatric consultation and liaison for the emergency room and inpatient units, and to oversee patients in the Behavioral Intervention Support Program (BISP). Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with Psychiatry specialization.
• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry, including consultation-liaison and behavioral programs.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Acute psychiatric consultations for ER and inpatient adults and adolescents.
• Consultation liaison with medical/surgical teams.
• Manage patients in the Behavioral Intervention Support Program (BISP).
• Provide 24-hour coverage for continuous care, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and therapists for integrated care.
• Educate and train residents and staff; participate in faculty development.
