The role includes admissions evaluations, written assessments and treatment plans, and coordination of ongoing care for residents.

The position offers a full-time schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with a light call schedule and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 contingent on budget.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina.
• Extensive knowledge of inpatient psychiatry and treatment modalities.
• Ability to work on an interdisciplinary team and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care, consultations, and written assessments with treatment plans.
• Coordinate continuation of care for residents in adherence to guidelines.
• Administer chronic medication management and psychotropic drug reviews.
