Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain.
• Active Georgia DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Prescribe and manage medication as necessary.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review.
• Provide on-call coverage and guidance.
• Carry patient caseload.
• Stay current with developments in psychiatry and continuing education.
