Athra Systems is seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to join our inpatient team in North Carolina. The role involves comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment within a multidisciplinary setting of psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, managing medications, providing psychotherapy, and collaborating with the team.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Psychiatry residency.
• North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain.
• DEA license in North Carolina or ability to obtain.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for inpatient clients.
• Prescribe and manage medications as needed.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review.
• Provide on-call coverage and guidance.
• Carry patient caseload.
• Stay current with developments in psychiatry and participate in continuing education activities.
