Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health seeks a dedicated psychiatrist for our inpatient team in Georgia. You will perform evaluations, diagnose, and treat a broad range of mental health disorders while collaborating with psychologists, social workers, and other clinicians to create individualized treatment plans.

You must hold an MD or DO with psychiatry residency and be licensed in Georgia or eligible, plus a DEA license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Valid Georgia medical license or ability to obtain.
• Valid Georgia DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment and treatment of mental health disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments in an inpatient setting.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as needed.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews.
• Provide on-call coverage and guidance.
• Carry patient caseload.
• Stay current with psychiatry developments and continuing education.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to clients with a wide range of mental health disorders. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with our team of psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
