The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services in Southwestern Virginia seeks a Counselor II-Supervisor to provide the full range of social work services on the Admissions Unit, including individual, group, and family therapy, assessments, and discharge planning.

The CSW will supervise assigned staff, participate in treatment teams and facility committees, and tailor care to adult patients’ age-specific needs within an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings preferred.
• Experience in psychosocial assessments and discharge planning preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide the full array of social work services on the Admissions Unit, including individual, group and family therapy, assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise assigned Social Work staff and participate in treatment teams and facility committees.
• Address age-specific needs of adult patients within an inpatient psychiatric setting.
