Job summary

Willingway in Statesboro, Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff on the unit. The position focuses on creating, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, with ongoing assessment and timely communication to the interdisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license in Georgia, with preferred experience in behavioral health or addiction recovery settings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in the state (Georgia) or compact.
• 1+ years nursing experience in clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and developing care plans.
• Assesses client status and communicates findings to providers promptly.
• Transcribes and reviews provider orders; ensures required elements are present.
• Administers medications accurately, with at least two identifiers.
• Notifies providers of significant changes in status or adverse events; documents changes.
