Job summary

I8IS - Infiniti Software Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health) in Columbus, GA to provide patient-centered care for psychiatric and behavioral health patients. The role requires at least 1.5 years bedside experience, GA RN licensure or compact license, and BLS certification.

You will work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team delivering crisis intervention, medication administration, and comprehensive patient education.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with psychiatric/behavioral health bedside experience (minimum 1.5 years).
• Active Georgia RN license or multi-state/compact license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• Strong clinical skills in psychiatric/behavioral health nursing, including crisis intervention, med administration, and patient education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced multidisciplinary setting.
• High empathy, patience, and emotional resilience for patients with complex mental health needs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered mental health care and crisis support.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and educate on medication management per protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, therapists and other professionals.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation during acute episodes.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and resources.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate EHR documentation per standards.
