Job summary

Mass General Brigham's McLean Hospital seeks a patient care assistant to support RNs in direct care within a psychiatric unit. You will document, monitor, and participate in patient rounds, while maintaining safety and professional boundaries. This is an onsite role at 115 Mill Street with a 24-hour rotating weekend package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
• Must complete and pass Epic training within 30 days of hire.
• Successful passing (80% or higher) of Epic training modules is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in providing direct patient care.
• Document AFS, progress notes, and observation sheets.
• Maintain professional boundaries and establish therapeutic relationships.
• Participate in patient rounds and planning of care.
