Mass General Brigham's McLean Hospital unit SB1 seeks a patient care assistant to support the RN in direct patient care and documentation. The role involves establishing therapeutic relationships, de‑escalating crises, and participating in rounds and group activities on an older adult unit.

Residents are adults 50+ dealing with depression, anxiety, and neurocognitive disorders; onsite at 115 Mill Street with a rotating schedule. 24 hours weekly and comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; no degree needed.
• One year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
• Must complete and pass Epic training within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN in direct patient care and maintain accurate documentation.
• Establish therapeutic relationships and de-escalate crises as needed.
• Participate in patient rounds, care assignments, and group activities.
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized unit environment.
