Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio.
• CPR certification within 90 days.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served and to assess data reflective of patient status.

Responsibilities

• Examines, evaluates, tests, and administers treatments to patients with physical disabilities or limitations.
• Supervise and co-sign plans of care implemented by the PT assistant.
• Ensure understanding with patient, family, referring doctors and other professionals.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates therapeutic physical therapy programs and services.
• Maintains records for documentation, billing, and scheduling in compliance with regulations.
• Maintains equipment and supplies used in therapy.
• Practices safety and infection control.
• Presents information to the work group within 90 days of training.
• Mentors/clinically instructs observation and clinical education students.
