Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist I for the inpatient unit at Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ. Shifts run 7:30a–3:30p with two weekend days per month, plus additional weekday coverage as needed.

You will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on learning and growth. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and family communication.

Qualifications

• New Jersey license to practice physical therapy is required.
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Preferred 2–5 years of physical therapy experience with acute care exposure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and rehab team members.
• Communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and continuity of care.
• Support various appointment types and adapt care plans as needed.
