Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Inpatient department in Baltimore, MD. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, performing ongoing assessments, and leading the care plan in collaboration with patients and families.

Responsibilities include supervising PT assistants and students, delivering standard PT interventions, and ensuring quality care within the inpatient setting. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for Master's or Doctorate and Maryland PT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• PT licensure from Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment program.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessment of patient's condition.
• Establish and revise a plan of care involving the patient/family.
• Perform therapy interventions using standard PT techniques.
• Oversee activities of PT assistants, students and support personnel.
