Mercy Medical Center is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant to join our acute care team in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on helping inpatients regain mobility, strength, and independence through individualized PT plans of care.

Requirements include an AA degree in Physical Therapy Assisting, Maryland PTA license, CPR Level C, and 2+ years of acute care experience (weekend pool eligible). Wound care and hydrotherapy familiarity are preferred—join Mercy and support compassionate care.

Qualifications

• AA degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Must be licensed as a PTA in Maryland.
• 2+ years of acute care experience; weekend pool staffing.
• Familiarity with wound care/hydrotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to in-patients to improve gross motor skills, strength, mobility, and skin integrity.
• Create and follow the documented plan of care for each patient.
• Deliver individualized care based on patient and family needs.
