Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati is seeking a Phlebotomist to accurately collect specimens, follow patient identification protocols, and support the laboratory team.

You will obtain blood specimens, maintain a clean phlebotomy cart, communicate clearly with patients and nursing staff, assist in training new team members, and help with daily maintenance and PHI handling.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; formal phlebotomy training or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains blood specimens following patient identification and collection protocols.
• Maintains phlebotomy cart and stock room, disposes of PHI properly.
• Communicates services and needs to patients clearly and respectfully.
• Assists in training new team members and supports department education.
• Performs routine maintenance and safety checks as assigned.
