Responsibilities include venipuncture, order entry in multiple systems, processing and labeling specimens, and collaborating with clinicians to ensure timely results while maintaining a compassionate, service-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or CMA/phlebotomy experience.
• Experience in healthcare phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and lab specimen collections per age-related standards.
• Enter orders and verify test results in systems.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET and ensure patient safety.
• Process specimens and maintain proper labeling and storage.
• Maintain a safe work environment and biohazard procedures.
• Perform clerical duties including order entry and inventory.
