Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• College level Biology or Chemistry (Preferred).
• ASCP Phlebotomy certification within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Current ASCP or NHA Phlebotomy certification (and continued maintenance).
• Completion of NACCLS approved or two-part formal phlebotomy program with documenting of 100 minimum venipuncture collections during clinical rotation preferred.
• 1-3 Years Of Phlebotomy Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction targets and net operating margin.
• Maintains accurate, timely and cost-effective results.
• Assists in training of new employees under supervision.
• Performs clerical duties including logging vocera, answering phones, and logging specimens.
