Job summary
Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the inpatient laboratory team. You will collect, label and log specimens and perform pre-analytical processing under supervision in a high-demand hospital setting.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a phlebotomy training program with 100 clinical hours, CPR (BLS), and a valid Illinois driver’s license. Night hours are 10pm–6:30am, full-time with rotating weekends/holidays.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a phlebotomy program with 100 clinical hours.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Valid Illinois driver's license and auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, collect, label and log specimens for testing.
- Perform pre-analytical processing and order laboratory tests.
- Register patient information and orders in the computer system.
- Arrange specimens for further processing by lab staff.
