Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Martin North Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in packaging, preparation, and distribution of medications. This full-time role includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and requires Florida licensure, strong attention to detail, and teamwork within a large academic medical center.

The position involves daily workflow in an advanced inpatient setting, including unit-dose packaging, inventory management, and using automation systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed in Florida as a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Ability to communicate with caregivers and patients.
• Demonstration of emotional control and intelligence.
• Ability to perform algebraic calculations for extemporaneous compounds.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications through selecting, labeling, repacking, non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate inventories and complete inventory audits.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area per procedures and regulations.
• Utilize information systems and automation to complete tasks.
• Assist with training of pharmacy staff and students.
