Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support inpatient pharmacy services under pharmacist supervision. You will prepare IV drugs aseptically, perform sterile and nonsterile compounding, and help with medication distribution using automated dispensing systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA pharmacy license current.
• Certification by PTCB or ExCPT required; must pass our sterile compounding program.
• 3 years of experience preferred; ability to use pharmacy technology and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile and nonsterile compounding under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver medications and manage automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare IV drugs using aseptic technique and document compounding activity.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and support training for new technicians.
