Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification required prior to trainee registration expiration date.
• One to three years of previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists with filling physician orders and medication carts.
• Prepare IV admixtures and sterile preparations using aseptic technique.
• Restock medications and supplies; replenish Pyxis and dispensing systems.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and maintain accurate documentation.
