Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Current NM Pharmacy Technician registration.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.

Aufgaben

• Procurement and distribution of drug orders.
• Identify and fill replacement medications for emergency carts and floor stock.
• Prepare sterile products including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition.
• Deliver medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas.
• Rotate stock to ensure use before expiration date.
• Pick up orders and medications for return during rounds.
• Enter charges and credits for patient medications accurately.
• Identify and replace outdated or unusable drugs.
