Job summary

Presbyterian HealthCare Services in Albuquerque seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under supervision of a pharmacist, you will fill medication orders, perform non-sterile compounding, manage stock, deliver medications, and handle associated clerical tasks.

The role supports patient care across inpatient and outpatient areas. Required: High school diploma or GED, NM Pharmacy Tech license, and PTCB or NHA certification.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Pharmacy Tech State of NM certification required.
PTCB or NHA certification required.

Responsibilities

Fills inpatient and outpatient medication orders and non-sterile compounding.
Uses Pyxis, Pharmogistics, and CII safe for medication management.
Delivers supplies to patient units and answers calls.
Maintains records for controlled and non-controlled substances.
Ensures stock is up-to-date and compliant with manufacturer requirements.
Adheres to Department Compliance Plan for Controlled Substances.
Performs other duties as assigned.
