Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 0–3 years of experience, and a Pharmacy Technician license within six weeks of placement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic science and math.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Good interpersonal skills for working with staff and coworkers.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Transport orders to pickup sites and restock as needed.
• Refill patient medication cassettes and maintain logs.
• Prepare IV admixtures and document work performed.
• Rotate stock to reduce outdating and manage inventory records.
• Assist in receiving, checking in and shelving medications from vendors.
