Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks a Pharmacy Intern PRN to support both inpatient and outpatient operations under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, accurate medication preparation, and effective communication with pharmacy staff and patients. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program and hold or be eligible for an Oklahoma intern license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be currently enrolled and in good standing with an accredited college of pharmacy approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy, or in NABPLEX qualification path.

Responsibilities

• Review and input medication orders, assist pharmacist, and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures and sterile products under aseptic technique where applicable.
• Assist with dispensing prescriptions and counseling under supervision.
