Job summary

Henry Ford Warren Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Full-Time Midnight Pharmacy Technician to support a pharmacist, handle medication orders, prepare and label medications, and ensure accurate dispensing in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, Michigan Pharmacy Technician license, and excellent attention to detail. The site offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and night-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Requires a Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum 6 months pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must type approximately 25 words per minute.
• Must work well with a wide variety of people under sometimes stressful situations.
• Must be motivated to provide high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Picks up medication orders and delivers medications to patient care areas on a routine and emergency basis.
• Accurately interprets and enters medication orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Determines quantities needed to fill prescriptions and prepares medications for dispensing.
• Aseptically compounds and labels intravenous solutions.
• Fills unit dose cassettes with medications.
• Generates computer reports and maintains records.
