Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Michigan is required.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and interpret medication orders and enter them into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare medications and labels for dispensing, following procedures.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and maintain inventory.
• Assist in aseptic compounding of IV solutions and unit-dose cassettes.
• Maintain accurate admission, discharge, and transfer information.
