Job summary

UNC REX Healthcare in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to train staff, assist the pharmacist with compounding and dispensing, and support daily workflow under supervision. The role is full-time with a night schedule and onsite work, offering a competitive pay range and incentives.

The position requires NC Board of Pharmacy technician registration (or PharmD intern status) and at least two years of technician experience. Eligible for the Pharmacy Technician Incentive Program.

Qualifications

• Two years of pharmacy technician experience required.
• Registration as a technician with the NC Board of Pharmacy; PharmD intern status allowed.
• CPhT or ExCPT certifications may be waived if enrolled in PharmD program.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees in job-specific functions and document training.
• Lead process-improvement projects and implement solutions.
• Assist pharmacist in reprioritizing daily workflow to protect patient care.
• Compound and prepare medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver and return medications to/from patient areas and manage inventory.
